The Capitol Coup Attempt of 2021

The Capitol Coup Attempt of 2021

Many words are pouring out about this event. For myself, I don’t intend to write anything long and detailed, but it is a time for clarity. And it is not a time for milquetoast.

This was an assault on the U.S. government and U.S. civilized society. The people who participated are traitors. They should receive a traitor’s punishment, every single one of them.

President Trump incited it. He probably regrets it now, only because it failed. If the coup had succeeded, he would have lauded it.

In fact, he lauded it anyway. He called the traitors good people. He said, “We love you, you are very special.” That makes him a traitor, too.

Trump needs to be impeached. Then he needs to go to prison until he dies.

The D.C. Chief of Police and the Capitol Sergeant-at-Arms are going to be fired. I don’t care. I don’t care. I don’t care. This is how it always goes with terrible events. The midlevel managers get fired and the chiefs go on. The people who need to be fired are Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Rudy Giuliani, and Mo Brooks. Those four need to hang. And because I am against the death penalty, I mean that almost but not quite literally.

In America, the highest of the high always seem to get away with murder. Literally this time, murder. The people who incited this at the top must be punished as brutally as possible.

And if you are against any of this, you are against the United States of America. I wish you well in whatever authoritarian country you choose to flee to.

And that’s about all I have to say about it.
